Quakers believe that everyone has an inner light that provides them with a capacity of insight and with guidance.
My personal metaphoric interpretation of this idea is that I strive to shine my inner light on parts of reality that are unknown up to now, and to pass on the information I gain from observing the reflections of light by sharing the word with mankind.
